Putting a simple drawing over an image - FreeCAD Forum
2011年4月11日 · I still see either the drawing or the picture: I'm not able to see the two combined into a single image. I need to use a picture taken from google earch (a building seen from the top) and draw few rectangles on the roof. The final picture should show the combined view: the photo taken from google earh together with the rectangles made with FC.

2018年5月13日 · Wompoo2, based on your previous topics I have the feeling that your definition of "drawing" is very large and vague. Are you talking about the 3D view? Or are you talking about the Drawing workbench? In the 3D view, you can go to the View --> Zoom --> Box zoom menu or press CTRL + B. In Drawing, box zoom doesn't work.
Sizing the grid - FreeCAD Forum
2019年11月18日 · I have it set to CAD navigation style. All other settings are default. Seems no matter how I have it set it opens to a large two-line (X/Y) 1/4" x 1/8" grid (in the bottom right corner readout) with the intersection in the center of the window/screen. When I scroll/pan out the scale gets larger and more grid lines appear. I'm confused with this.

Related: Hidden Lines are displayed as dashes. How to display Hidden Lines as solid lines? Needed, because those dashed lines cannot be printed suitably for a metal workshop ...
