It emulates up to DC/N64 perfectly, and personally I am yet to have a single problem with it. I also bought a stock GT-King and tied to make one myself that was as good but failed.

I also highly recommend getting the version with the knockoff Playstation controllers. They’re not great, but wireless and have all the buttons needed for the more modern games. This "super console X5 pro" can be found from aliexpress for $190 after tax and S&H. It comes with a 320 GB small harddrive, and a crappy after market controller. I feel like buying my own retropie, with a case, ssd, a fan, and a PSU, then paying S&H and tax. I'm going to be pretty close to that $190 price point.
