Church Brothers Farms issued a voluntary recall of 1,271 cases of green onions sold in a limited number of U.S. and Canada retailers.

Green onions by Church Brothers are being recalled in 11 U.S. states and Canada after salmonella was found in a product sample.

More than 1,000 cases of green onions were recalled over the weekend because of a possible Salmonella contamination. Church Brothers, LLC (also known as Church Brothers Farms), issued the voluntary recall after a product sample collected by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency was found to be contaminated with Salmonella .
