It never appeared during July’s Galaxy Unpacked event, but Samsung's special edition smartphone may be here sooner than you think.

Samsung is set to launch a new take on its Galaxy Z Fold 6 foldable phone, the original version of which was announced only in July 2024. The phone reportedly trims down its thickness from 12.1 millimetres to 10.6mm, getting closer to — while still not matching — the rival Honor Magic V3. That phone is only 9.3mm thick when closed.
