Currently in the UK, clocks go forward one hour at 1am on the last Sunday in March, and go back on the final Sunday of October. We change the clocks to get the most out of the daylight.
For now, anyway, Daylight Saving Time, sometimes incorrectly referred to by the plural Daylight Savings Time, concludes on Nov. 3, and New Yorkers will be expected to “fall back” to standard time.
